PROGRAMS

Courage to Caregivers offers online/virtual format for the following:  Breathing Meditation classes at 6 p.m. EST followed by Support Groups at 7 p.m. EST Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You no longer have to be in the Cleveland area to attend one or both of these programs! You’ll need to register and sign their waiver to get access to our virtual meetings. Email Kristi with your interest and availability for a quick call to get to know each other.

Courage to Caregivers has an onboarding process with your privacy and confidentiality in mind. It usually starts with a quick phone chat with Kristi to make sure we can meet your expectations OR go ahead and register for any/all of our programs and we'll work to onboard you.

ONE-TO-ONE CAREGIVER PEER SUPPORT

Recognizing that self-care is the “oxygen mask” for the mental illness caregiver, Courage to Caregivers is accepting registrations for volunteers and participants for its One-to-One Caregiver Peer Support program.

The program connects caregivers with volunteers who have experience caring for someone with a mental illness. The purpose of the program is to provide participants with support and resources to help them take care of themselves both physically and emotionally so they are better able to take care of someone else.

BREATHING MEDITATION CLASSES

We know that meditation allows you to better manage day-to-day and critical stressful situations. We have found that utilizing proper breathing techniques is vital to the regulation of our stress levels.

The goals for our support groups include reinforcing a variety of skills that seek to build resilience and empower the mental illness caregiver as well as establish a caring community.
